These workshops will be delivered as a series of master classes. Each workshop includes excursions exploring the island's white washed towns, forested landscapes & visiting some of the 350 plus churches & monasteries including Agios Ioannis - the church made famous in the Mamma Mia movie.
The studio is located in an old taverna on the island of SKOPELOS in the Sporades. There are views to die for & accommodation is available on site.
SKOPELOS works on PAPER isn’t just about working with paper - we will be stopping to eat & drink at local tavernas & swim at stunning beaches on our inspirational journeys around this amazing island. You will be given a booklet of technical notes, there will be practical demonstrations of all processes & individual tuition.
These programs are designed to accommodate beginners to advanced students. Our aim is to work as a group but cater for the individual in our relaxed studio setting.
This is your chance to immerse yourself in another culture, make art, relax & have fun.
If you are planning to travel with someone, they are welcome to join us on the excursion days, lunches, opening & closing dinners for a small fee, to cover our costs.
If you are a practising artist, photographer or arts educator you could be able to claim this workshop & related expenses
as a tax deduction.
Please check with your accountant before booking.
Maximum class size of 10.
